The city of Orlando is located in Orange County, Florida and is the county seat. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 185,951. U.S. Census estimates population count in 2005 was 213,223, making it the sixth largest city in Florida.
The city is world famous for the many tourist attractions in the area, most noteably Walt Disney World Resort, which is actually located just outside Orlando city limits. Other attractions include SeaWorld Universal Orlando Resort (Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure and City Walk), Wet 'n' Wild Water Park and numerous smaller theme-parks and attractions. |
