Ayia Napa is a resort on at the far eastern end of the south coast of the island of Cyprus. In recent years it has changed from being a family holiday destination to being a party capital, similar to Ibiza. In particular, it has become popular as the summer holiday destination for followers of London's UK Garage music scene.
The line of the coast of Ayia Napa attracts a number of tourists, thanks to its sandy gold beach. Watersports such as water-ski, windsurfing, canoeing are available. All the beaches in Ayia Napa have granted with the blue flag of the EU for their level of cleanliness and the shining facilities offered in line with the standards fixed by the European union. The square is central to the city, filled with the restaurants, night-clubs, bars and retail stores and, for many, are seen as the real night-life focal point of Ayia Napa. |
