Cape May, is a town at the tip of the Cape May Peninsula in Cape May County, New Jersey with a population of 4,034 year-round residents that is located at the southern tip of New Jersey.
The entire town is a National Historic Landmark with beautifully landscaped gardens, tree-lined streets, and more than 600 Victorian buildings boasting "gingerbread architecture." While the scenery in Cape May is enjoyable in itself, the town also offers numerous activities and attractions. As the second largest fishing port on the Atlantic coast, sportfishing charters are abundant. The area's beaches are also worth visiting, in addition to sauntering through the many antique shops, and watching whales and birds along the coastline. |
